The Folklord Myth Shirt is designed for all-day endurance and then some. This short sleeve button-up is tailor made for the trails and beyond with its magically lightweight fabric, perforated back panel, snap buttons and perfect fit.

MYTHICAL PROPERTIES

Typically when you think of vicious dogs guarding a property gate, they're making sure nobody gets in. Cerberus on the other hand—or head—is in the business of making sure nobody gets out. The famed hell hound of Hades has the tireless job of making sure the dead stay where they're put. So tireless, in fact, he's got three heads to keep a look out. (Although some depictions of him feature 50-100 heads, and varying amount of protruding snakes.) However, descriptions most consistently show the dog with multiple heads and a serpent tail. All in all, a canine creature you most certainly want to let lie. Although Cerberus is a terrifying creature, he's also often thought of as a protector of the Underworld and is loyal to Hades. And, since he's been tamed by Heracles with brute strength, by Orpheus with music and by Psyche using honey cakes, it seems like deep down, like any myth, there's more than meets the six eyes.

When trail running, especially in the wee hours of the night, I often encounter soul sucking demons and, on occasion, a Chupacabra. Luckily in times such as these, I'm normally sporting my trusty Myth Shirt with the beautiful (and originally designed) St. Johns wort print. The material wicks away my chilled sweat almost as fast as the herb wicks away those pesky succubi. No evil apparitions around these parts, no siree, and that's because I'm a Folklord, baby.

The fit of this shirt is true to size and is the right “tightness” to give warmth without restricting movement. It’s long enough to tuck in if you’re into that kind of thing. I would recommend wearing shorts or pants with this as it’s not long enough to cover your naughty bits. Public indecency will still get you arrested.

The fabric is wonderfully soft. Good luck getting chafed nipples with this bad boy. It’s also a good weight for battling the cold but certainly isn’t heavy.

It’s pretty to look at and trust me, everyone will be looking at you. You’ll be the most interesting person in the brewery, library, political march, breast cancer awareness half marathon, or wilderness.

This is my second Folklord Story hat and I’m in love

This is my second Folklord Story hat and I’m in love. They fit my boof head wonderfully and all the 60+ year olds tell me I’m very handsome.

This really is a light but well constructed hat. I wore it on 5 runs in a week and was light and comfortable every time. Great airflow for Florida heat. Great looking hat for Florida breweries.

Journey shirt is a must
