these shorts are super comfortable, very soft, and don't ride up. i've worn them for short runs and also a long mountain adventure and didn't have any issues. i haven't used the pockets much because i don't like the weight of my phone hanging around my waist/legs but the pockets have ample room. love the prints and materials! i generally wear a size medium in shorts and the small fit me like a glove. highly recommend!
