The Folklord Myth Shirt is designed for all-day endurance and then some. This short sleeve button-up is tailor made for the trails and beyond with its magically lightweight fabric, perforated back panel, snap buttons and perfect fit.

MYTHICAL PROPERTIES

Look out! It’s a ball-tailed cat! Said to resemble a bobcat or mountain lion, the fearsome cryptid also sported a large mace-like ball on its tail—as if its horrific fangs and claws weren’t enough to do damage. This ferocious feline was said to prowl the upper North American wilderness as tales been early 20th century woodsmen and lumberjacks proliferated. The poses and structure of the Folklord design takes inspiration from traditional Japanese tiger and lotus tattoo art, which were in turn inspired by ancient monastic renderings of Chinese tigers.

When trail running, especially in the wee hours of the night, I often encounter soul sucking demons and, on occasion, a Chupacabra. Looking hot while feeling cool

I can definitely be accused of making fun of ultra/trail running fashion as a *mostly* road runner. After dipping my toes into ultras last December and with a 100 mile race this December, I've started to come around. In preparation for my race, I've been listening to The Tribe of Runners podcast and saw Folk Lord in the show notes...reading is cool.

I am 5 foot 10 and about 165 pounds and I bought a medium. It fits really great; it is slim-fitting but with plenty of room to move. I was worried it would be too tight around my shoulder area and chafe, but it really was perfect. I ran 8 miles on a hot and humid Florida day and had no chafing, felt cool, and comfortable.

The length of the shirt was perfect, definitely not too long or short. When I run with my running belt, I like to tuck my shirts in, and I was able to comfortably.

The fabric is stretchy and soft which are two things I like in running shirts. The back panel has laser-cut breathing holes, which helped with the heat.

I plan on wearing this shirt for my 100 mile race, definitely. Great work Folklord!

I LOVE the pattern of this shirt

I LOVE the pattern of this shirt. I usually wear a women's small in running tops and the XS fit perfectly. It was cool and comfortable to run in and definitely passed as leisletic.
