Rain god? Crazy mask? Cult following? Sounds like a Folklord, alright.
You'd think after over a year in business and two products featuring this iconic cryptid, I would have surely written a Creature Feature about it. But that's just the kind of unexpected, mysterious behavior emblematic of Folklord. And so, at long last: the Jackalope!
The Wendigo! The Wendigo! Its eyes are ice and indigo! reads one poem about this ferocious creature. The verses go on to capture the horrid visage and acts of the Algonquin legend. But mostly it's impressive they found so many ways to rhyme wendigo.

Oftentimes, folklore and tall tales become so far removed from their origin that it’s hard to believe they were once rooted in reality. Some much more so than others. *Takes a big bite of an apple.*
